1. What is your favorite wine region?

I love wines from all over the world and have no preference for a particular region. That said, I believe all wine drinkers' journey will end with Bourgogne!

2. What is your most memorable wine & why?

My most memorable wine was the 6-litre bottle of Sebastiani Winery Cabernet Sauvignon served over dinner in celebration of my first anniversary - I carried that bottle by hand all the way over from California in 1991!

3. Any obscure grape varietals caught your attention lately?

Blaufrankisch from Austria. This grape variety has great potential as more and more winemakers are growing it and incorporating it in their wines. Personally, I like its freshness and full-bodied character, which gives the wine aging potential.
